I turn hard ideas into films you'll actually finish

//
A short version
//
I spent seven years teaching physics before realizing the classroom I wanted didn't exist yet, so I built it on YouTube. Every film starts as a question I can't stop thinking about.
The work is slower than it looks. Three weeks of reading before a word gets written, seven drafts before anything gets said out loud, then six days in the edit cutting whatever doesn't earn its place. A 24-minute film is usually 40 minutes that lost an argument. That was the whole plan and it hasn't changed: explain hard things without making them smaller, and be worth the time it takes to watch. Ten million people have since decided that's a fair trade, which I still find difficult to believe on a Tuesday morning.
Where and when
Researched for weeks, scripted like an essay, then cut until nothing is left that doesn't earn its place.
